We had an interesting menu last New Year's Eve. Though, I am not a fan of lamb when it comes to food, still I managed to make it edible. Lamb has a very distinct scent and taste which is very hard to mask. I used two different marinades in order to avoid disappointment. This was my first try to cook lamb, so I just bought 4 pieces lamb chops to try.
The two pieces were marinated in olive oil, rosemary, salt and pepper. While the other two pieces were marinated in BBQ sauce with a twist of Jack Daniel's sauce.
My hubby says, they both tasted nice but he liked those pieces marinated in BBQ sauce more. I didn't consume my share because as I said, I don't eat lamb. It's not appealing to me. Good thing I cooked other dishes like Menudo and Embutido.
